Vision

Our vision is to live out our faith in Jesus Christ in such a way that radically and powerfully transforms every part of our lives, as well as the people our lives affect. We are committed to sharing the Good News of God's love in Jesus to all nations in the power of His Holy Spirit.

It is Our Vision To:

  • help each believer come into their full maturity in Christ
  • provide a clear and appropriate explanation of our faith to everyone interested
  • continue to establish other congregations as God leads us
  • help each member of the congregation, whatever their age, discover, be equipped for and released in their gifting and calling for God's service within the Fellowship and beyond
  • reach out to those who do not believe in Jesus via personal witness, preaching, the arts, music, and whatever creative method is appropriate
  • work with other churches and Christian organisations in the worship of Jesus, prayer for others, and the furtherance of the Gospel in the spirit of unity Jesus prayed for

Five Key Purposes

Five key purposes describe the function and structure of our church vision:

1. Worship - "I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodiesas a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." Romans 12:1

2. Fellowship - "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Acts 2:42

3. Discipleship - "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'" Matthew 28:18-20

4. Ministry - "But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry." 2 Timothy 4:5

5. Missional - "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
